AI and geomatics make it possible to assess reconversion potential, model agricultural and land dynamics, and build territorial revitalisation strategies adapted to local specificities.
Urban transformations: towards smart cities
The rapid expansion of cities, land pressure, functional imbalances and urban governance issues require powerful analysis mechanisms. Spatial intelligence offers decision-support tools to optimise the organisation of networks, plan rational land use, and steer mobility, housing and urban services policies. It is a key component of approaches towards smart, inclusive and sustainable cities.
Natural resources, climate change and territorial resilience: anticipating and adapting
This axis demonstrates how the convergence of technologies is transforming the management of climate issues and natural resources. It is built around an integrated vision: using predictive modelling and spatial monitoring (satellites, data) to anticipate crises (droughts, floods, fires), optimise in real time the use of vital resources (water, soils, energy) and secure planning decisions.
Governance and strategic framework: the foundations of territorial intelligence
Defining the institutional and operational frameworks needed to anchor geospatial intelligence over time and at the scale of public action. This essential axis deals not with the tools themselves, but with the conditions for their success and sustainability. It answers the central question: how can AI and geomatics become everyday, shared levers of public action?
